Marketing Designer – E-Mail & Content (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce marketing agency in Düsseldorf that sends 250 million newsletters annually—8 emails per second for more than 150 online retailers. Our client needs a Marketing Designer who can own the entire creative process for email campaigns, from layout to copy.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Düsseldorf, Germany. You'll work directly with a compact team of specialists delivering performance-driven email marketing for retail brands across the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Design and build newsletters end-to-end using a Figma design system—reading briefs, planning structure, adapting blocks, and finalizing copy and graphics
• Manage creative output for 30 to 40 brands simultaneously, each with distinct visual identities
• Write conversion-focused copy using AI-assisted tools and content frameworks
• Submit completed campaigns directly to clients for approval and deployment
• Take ownership of the entire newsletter lifecycle—no handoffs, no waiting on others
• Adapt quickly to new tools and workflows, often within days
• Incorporate client feedback and refine your approach with each iteration

What We're Looking For

• Strong aesthetic judgment and an eye for what works visually in digital marketing
• Extremely fast learner—you pick up new platforms and processes quickly
• High level of motivation and personal drive; you actively seek improvement
• Comfortable working with AI tools for design and copywriting support
• Ability to produce high-quality work rapidly without sacrificing attention to detail
• Willingness to own outcomes, not just tasks
• Full-time availability to work on-site in Düsseldorf with the team
• Professional proficiency in German is required for this role

Not required: prior experience with Figma, formal design education, or newsletter background. Attitude, speed, and visual instinct matter most—our client will train the rest.

Pay

The employer offers €3,500 to €6,000 per month, depending on experience. The goal for every hire is permanent, long-term employment.
