AI Deployment Strategist (EMEA)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI infrastructure organization in their search for an AI Deployment Strategist based in London. This is a unique role for technically credible, commercially minded operators who thrive on long-term customer relationships and complex problem-solving.

You will own strategic accounts from signature through multi-year expansion, acting as the technical and commercial bridge between customer goals and platform capabilities. This role combines elements of technical consulting, account management, and strategic deployment—ideal for entrepreneurial builders with founder or early-stage experience.

Responsibilities

• Own customer relationships and commercial outcomes from contract signature onward, driving adoption, expansion, and renewals over years rather than quarters
• Partner with account executives pre-signature to scope pilots, establish success criteria, and lead technical-commercial discussions
• Run the operating cadence across customer and internal engineering teams, maintaining delivery momentum and stakeholder alignment
• Translate customer objectives into concrete deployment milestones and ensure execution against them
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts—new workloads, teams, and use cases
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, representing account needs with technical precision to product and engineering
• Navigate enterprise constraints common in EMEA markets, including procurement processes, data residency requirements, and regulatory frameworks

What We're Looking For

Required:

• First principles thinking and critical reasoning—the ability to break down unfamiliar problems from the ground up without relying on playbooks (this is the primary interview focus and can outweigh other qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent technical depth through hands-on experience
• 3+ years in roles combining technical credibility with commercial ownership, such as deployment strategy, technical consulting, founder roles, or forward-deployed engineering
• Strong technical fluency—capable of holding technical conversations with customer engineering leadership and internal field engineers, and reasoning about AI infrastructure tradeoffs
• Track record of owning long-term outcomes rather than handing off after initial sale
• Excellent judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills with senior audiences

Preferred:

• Founder or founding team experience, particularly as CEO or commercial lead of a technical product
• Experience deploying or operating AI/ML products in production enterprise environments
• Familiarity with EMEA-specific enterprise constraints (GDPR, EU AI Act, data residency)
• Startup or high-growth environment background
