Associate Director, Investment, Global

We are representing a leading global media investment organization in their search for an Associate Director, Investment, Global based in London. Our client operates at the forefront of data-driven media strategy, working with high-profile international brands to deliver transformational results.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute directly to strategic investment management across major global accounts. Your work will span multiple critical areas:

• Develop comprehensive oversight of global investment targets and support advanced trading solutions, identifying media value opportunities at scale
• Collaborate with digital partners to implement innovative investment strategies, integrating AI and data-driven insights to unlock client value
• Work seamlessly with colleagues across Asia, North America, Europe, and Latin America on high-profile client engagements
• Manage and develop junior team members, driving quality work and learning agendas while enhancing your leadership capabilities
• Lead key workstreams for critical global clients, delivering to deadlines and simplifying complex results for stakeholder engagement
• Participate in global new business pitches, creating competitive and comprehensive proposals in fast-paced environments
• Drive practical applications of technology and AI within operational processes to maximize efficiency

What We're Looking For

We seek media professionals ready to elevate their careers to the next level. Your background may include experience as an auditor, buyer within a local market, media vendor professional, or within regional/global investment management teams.

Advanced Analytical Prowess:

• Strong aptitude for mathematics with exceptional attention to detail and a curious, questioning nature
• Advanced data analysis skills with interest in developing data visualization capabilities using tools such as Power BI
• Interest in code, VBA/macro writing, Alteryx, or Tableau is advantageous but not essential

Strategic Collaboration:

• Experience developing and managing strategic relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Proven ability to nurture strong client relationships and support business objectives
• Track record of fostering positive, inclusive team environments and driving collaboration on complex projects

Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking:

• Solution-focused approach with ability to lead conversations that resolve challenges innovatively
• Understanding of global media markets, channel evolution, measurement approaches, and trading metrics
• Proactive approach with hunger for continuous learning in this fast-evolving industry

Project Management:

• Capability to prioritize, adapt, and maintain solutions-focused approach in demanding global environments
• Experience managing workstreams and bringing junior team members along on the journey

Commercial Acumen:

• Commercial mindset in creating solutions and managing commitments
• Focus on unlocking holistic media value opportunities

Requirements:

• Right to work in the United Kingdom
• Hybrid working arrangement (approximately four days per week in London office)
