Directory Federation Services (ADFS) Customer Engineer (English Bilingual)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology services organization seeking an experienced Directory Federation Services (ADFS) Customer Engineer to join their team in Mexico. This is a work-from-home position requiring English bilingual proficiency.

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, providing expert guidance on identity modernization, federation services, and hybrid identity solutions. You'll work directly with customers to design, deploy, and optimize their ADFS environments while supporting their journey toward modern cloud identity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and support ADFS environments for enterprise customers
• Lead ADFS upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives, including migrations to Microsoft Entra ID
• Configure and manage claims-based authentication, Access Control Policies, Relying Party Trusts, and MFA integrations
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, federation, certificate, and identity synchronization issues
• Support Active Directory architecture, authentication, trust relationships, and Entra Connect synchronization
• Assess and improve identity security posture through remediation of security findings and implementation of best practices
• Collaborate with customer infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to deliver secure and compliant identity solutions
• Deliver technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness support to customers

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience supporting Active Directory and ADFS environments
• Advanced expertise in Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
• Proven experience with ADFS migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects
• Strong knowledge of claims-based authentication and federation protocols
• Experience configuring Access Control Policies and Relying Party Trusts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Entra Connect and Hybrid Identity solutions
• Experience with MFA integration and authentication troubleshooting
• Certificate management and federation security expertise
• Experience delivering enterprise identity, federation, or hybrid identity projects
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working directly with customers in consulting, advisory, or support roles
• Bilingual English proficiency required

Preferred Certifications:

• SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
• Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
• MCSE or equivalent experience
• CISSP or comparable security certification
