Technical Product Lead – AI Finance App

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building next-generation financial products across Southeast Asia. Our talent team is searching for a Technical Product Lead to own a critical product vertical within an AI-powered financial platform serving millions of users across payments, remittance, insurance, wealth management, and trading.

This is a remote role based in the Philippines, working with a distributed international team across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

As Technical Product Lead, you will:

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, success metrics, roadmap prioritization, and delivery
• Shape technical design alongside engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory compliance, and user experience
• Embed regulatory requirements into product design including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy controls, and licensing
• Apply AI and LLM capabilities strategically where they genuinely improve outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate complex launches involving regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure dependencies, and third-party partner integrations
• Align cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch readiness

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation including system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architectural discussions
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence financial domain
• Strong product judgment with ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation methodologies, reliability patterns, and understanding when deterministic systems must remain in control
• Strong English communication skills for distributed team collaboration

Preferred qualifications:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer financial products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered features
