We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking an experienced Pharmacy Team Lead to join their operations in Winnersh. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven people leader to step into a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment without requiring prior pharmacy experience or qualifications.

Our client is looking for someone who excels at managing teams, coordinating busy operations, and maintaining high standards across weekday and weekend shifts. You'll be at the heart of day-to-day pharmacy operations, providing hands-on leadership while supporting and developing your team.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on leadership during shifts, creating a positive and collaborative working environment
• Coordinate daily priorities, allocate tasks, and manage workloads to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Act as the first point of contact for team members, offering guidance and support throughout the working day
• Monitor progress and respond quickly to changing demands, operational challenges, or staffing requirements
• Ensure the team maintains safe, accurate, and compliant working practices in line with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements
• Identify and escalate quality, safety, or operational concerns appropriately
• Coach and develop colleagues through regular feedback and on-the-job guidance to build their confidence and capabilities
• Support onboarding and training of new team members
• Manage performance and address day-to-day people challenges in a fair and constructive manner
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen safety, and enhance patient experience
• Support implementation of new processes and operational improvements
• Lead by example and foster a culture of accountability and motivation

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience leading, supervising, or managing a team in a busy operational environment
• Experience managing day-to-day operations, workloads, priorities, and staffing requirements
• Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop colleagues
• Confidence to make decisions, resolve challenges, and take ownership of issues through to completion
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities during busy periods
• Strong attention to detail and consistent commitment to high standards
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Supportive and approachable leadership style with genuine interest in helping others succeed
• Experience giving feedback and managing performance when required
• Calm, proactive, and solutions-focused approach in fast-paced environments
• Confidence using computer-based systems and ability to learn new tools quickly
• Flexibility to work across weekday and weekend shifts as part of the pharmacy rota
• Willingness to learn pharmacy operations, healthcare processes, and regulatory requirements
• Patient-first mindset and passion for delivering exceptional service

Ideal candidates include those with experience as Team Leader, Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Operations Manager, Store Manager, Contact Centre Team Leader, Warehouse Team Leader, or similar people-management positions.
