Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking full-time Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in Hutchinson, Kansas. We're looking for compassionate, reliable professionals to deliver hands-on patient care and support that makes a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

What This Role Involves

As a full-time Caregiver or CNA with Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, you'll provide direct care to patients in their homes across Hutchinson and the surrounding area. This is meaningful work that combines essential medical support with genuine human connection. You'll work closely with nursing staff and care teams to ensure each patient receives dignified, personalized care tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and report patient vital signs and changes in health status to the nursing team
• Help with patient mobility, transferring, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient environments
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
• Document care activities accurately and communicate updates to supervisors
• Follow established protocols and maintain patient confidentiality and dignity

Who We're Looking For

• Current CNA certification or equivalent caregiving qualification (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Compassionate approach to patient care with strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to travel between patient homes in the Hutchinson area
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with nursing and care staff
• Physical stamina to perform hands-on care duties throughout your shift
• Genuine commitment to supporting patients and families during important times
