LPN/RN Pediatric Home Care – Flexible Evening Schedule

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring an LPN/RN for Pediatric Home Care in Spanish Lake, Missouri. Join our team to provide direct patient care and support families in the comfort of their homes with a flexible evening schedule.

Position Summary

This full-time nursing position focuses on delivering compassionate, skilled pediatric home care services to young patients throughout the Spanish Lake area. Working primarily during evening hours, you'll build ongoing relationships with families while managing acute and chronic conditions in a home-based setting. This role offers clinical autonomy, the satisfaction of direct patient impact, and the flexibility that attracts dedicated nurses to home care work.

Responsibilities

• Assess pediatric patients and establish individualized care plans aligned with physician orders and family goals
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform wound care and other skilled nursing interventions
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication administration, and equipment use
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Respond to patient needs and manage medical emergencies with clinical judgment and professionalism
• Support family members emotionally and practically during complex pediatric health journeys

Who We're Looking For

• Valid LPN or RN license in Missouri
• Experience in pediatric nursing or demonstrated ability to build rapport with children and families
• Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort working independently in home environments
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work assigned evening hours
• Compassionate communication, patience, and adaptability
