Creative Design Manager – Editorial

Role Overview

As Creative Design Manager for Editorial, you'll lead the creative vision guiding design and art direction across our most important editorial initiatives. Your expertise will shape how our brand's content stories resonate across digital platforms, print, and multimedia channels—ensuring every design decision strengthens brand identity and reader engagement.

Core Duties

• Direct art direction and provide strategic creative advisory for priority editorial content from concept through publication
• Develop original design solutions and ensure cohesive visual translation across digital, print, and emerging channels
• Establish, refine, and evolve design systems and brand standards that maintain visual consistency and elevate editorial quality
• Collaborate with editorial teams, writers, and cross-functional partners to amplify narrative through intentional design
• Guide creative execution through feedback, critique, and quality assurance to uphold brand excellence

Requirements

• Proven experience managing editorial design projects or directing creative teams
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in editorial design, visual systems, and multi-channel brand work
• Mastery of design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or comparable platforms
• Ability to develop and communicate creative strategy that translates brand vision into compelling visual narratives
• Must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across departments and stakeholder groups
