Shift Manager

McDonald's is hiring a full-time Shift Manager in Rockaway Beach, Queens. In this leadership role, you'll oversee daily restaurant operations, mentor crew members, and ensure outstanding customer experiences during your shifts.

About the Role

As a Shift Manager at our Rockaway Beach location, you'll be a key part of bringing the McDonald's experience to life. You'll lead a dynamic team, oversee service during your shift, and maintain the standards that make McDonald's a trusted destination for families across Queens.

Please note: This position is with a McDonald's franchise owner and operator, not McDonald's USA Corporate. The franchisee is your employer and operates this restaurant under a license to use McDonald's brands and products.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise crew members during assigned shifts
• Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and customer satisfaction
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance
• Train team members on procedures, customer service, and company standards
• Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and financial accountability
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply orders
• Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment
• Assist with scheduling and staffing needs

What We're Looking For

• Proven supervisory or management experience (prior leadership role preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and health standards
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving ability
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Basic math and cash handling skills
