About the Role

As a Cashier & Service associate, you'll be the face of Dairy Queen, handling transactions, taking orders, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. This is a fast-paced position where you'll work directly with customers and collaborate with kitchen and preparation staff to keep orders accurate and timely. Your role is essential to creating the positive, welcoming atmosphere our customers expect when they visit us.

What You'll Do

• Operate the register accurately and process cash, card, and mobile payments
• Take customer orders clearly and ring them in correctly to the kitchen
• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and respond to their needs with attentiveness and courtesy
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure orders are prepared correctly and served promptly
• Verify that all prepared products meet our quality standards before they reach customers
• Maintain a clean, organized service area and follow food safety protocols
• Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations when appropriate
• Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when needed
