AI Full Stack Engineer

About This Role

We are representing a rapidly scaling technology company in Berlin that is transforming how digital marketing and user engagement work at scale. Our client is seeking an AI Full Stack Engineer to build internal tools and products that integrate artificial intelligence capabilities across their systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a clear AI focus. You'll work across the entire stack, orchestrate AI APIs, and partner closely with business teams to translate their needs into technical solutions that improve workflows and drive impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack applications including front end, back end, and database layers
• Architect durable AI workflows that adapt as the LLM landscape evolves, avoiding brittle prompt chains
• Build and maintain back-end services using Node.js or Python
• Integrate and orchestrate AI APIs into existing and new systems
• Work across multiple systems and data sources, making sense of fragmented data
• Collaborate with business teams such as marketing, user acquisition, and operations to understand their workflows
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Iterate on tools based on stakeholder feedback and evolving needs

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience building complex agentic systems
• Proven experience integrating and working with AI APIs
• Strong coding skills and solid engineering fundamentals
• Full stack capabilities across front end, back end, and databases
• Good prompting skills and ability to use current AI tools effectively
• Production experience with Node.js or Python
• Curiosity, initiative, and a strong learning mindset, especially around AI developments

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with agentic and system-thinking approaches for AI solutions
• Experience partnering closely with marketing, user acquisition, or other business and operations teams

Pay

The client's salary range for this position is €80,000 – €130,000 annually, plus equity. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skill level.
