Technical Program Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software company seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their Platform team in Berlin. Our client is building cloud-native infrastructure that powers critical business operations, and they need a seasoned program leader to drive their most complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to delivery.

In this role, you'll be the connective tissue across engineering, product, security, sales, and legal—turning high-stakes programs into sequenced plans with clear owners, dates, and measurable outcomes. You'll drive enterprise readiness, quarterback audit and compliance programs, and operate in a written-first, low-overhead culture where clarity matters more than meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for 3–5 cross-functional initiatives simultaneously
• Drive enterprise readiness programs, sequencing features, certifications, and contract requirements that unblock enterprise deals across Platform, Product, and Sales teams
• Quarterback security programs including audit preparation, residual risk burn-down, and customer security questionnaires
• Steer AI enablement rollout across functions in collaboration with engineering teams
• Hold senior individual contributors and engineering managers accountable without direct authority
• Challenge engineering trade-offs credibly based on technical understanding of cloud-native platforms

What We're Looking For

Required:

• At least 5 years as a Technical Program Manager in SaaS, owning complex multi-team programs end-to-end from plan to delivery
• Proven track record driving cross-functional programs across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
• Experience driving enterprise-readiness programs end-to-end in lockstep with Product, Sales, and Legal
• Technical credibility with cloud-native platforms: ability to read architecture and design docs, reason about AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, microservices, APIs, and reliability SLOs
• Experience owning developer-experience or platform programs with measurable targets (e.g., cutting CI/build times, raising deploy frequency, improving DORA metrics like lead time and change-failure rate)
• Ability to operate written-first with minimal overhead

Preferred:

• Experience in financial technology or another heavily regulated industry
• Track record running audit preparation programs (SOC 2, ISO)
• Familiarity with Linear, Notion, and Slack as operating tools
