About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential recruiting technology client in Berlin who is launching an innovative new division focused on automated talent acquisition for skilled trades businesses. As the first Business Development Manager on this team, you'll work directly with senior leadership to build client relationships and develop processes from the ground up.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join at the foundation stage of a business unit that combines recruiting services with AI-powered automation. You'll manage the full client lifecycle—from acquisition through ongoing partnership—while helping shape the systems and workflows that will define future growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between clients and job candidates
• Acquire new clients through direct outreach, complementing leads provided by the sales team
• Ensure clients receive qualified applications and maintain ongoing communication with both candidates and hiring companies
• Build deep partnerships with clients, positioning yourself as a strategic growth advisor
• Collaborate daily with leadership and engineering teams to optimize processes and platform features
• Manage the full recruiting cycle for your client portfolio, supported by software and AI tools

What We're Looking For

• Recent university graduate or early-career professional excited to build something from the ground up
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach with strong results orientation
• Genuine enthusiasm for client communication and relationship building
• Willingness to work in-person at the Berlin office
• German language proficiency required for client-facing responsibilities
