About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential deep-tech organization in Munich that is scaling rapidly across engineering, science, and manufacturing operations. Our talent team is partnering with them to identify a Senior Recruiter who will take ownership of complex, niche searches and help build their manufacturing workforce during a critical growth phase.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who wants meaningful scope and influence in shaping talent acquisition strategy while staying deeply involved in recruiting itself. You'll work across both technical and industrial hiring, building sourcing channels that go well beyond traditional approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute full-cycle recruitment for critical roles, with strong emphasis on manufacturing and production positions including technicians, operators, quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers
• Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to define hiring needs and build tailored sourcing strategies
• Drive proactive sourcing and engagement of passive talent in German and English through recruitment events, conferences, and talent communities across the DACH region and beyond
• Mentor junior recruiters and help establish best practices and quality standards for the talent acquisition team
• Champion outstanding candidate experience across diverse audiences, from senior scientists to shop-floor hires
• Contribute to talent acquisition projects including workflow improvements, employer brand development, and interview training delivery
• Support the development of high-trust, high-rigor processes that enable scaling without compromising quality

What We're Looking For

• Native or professional-fluency German speaker with full professional fluency in English, comfortable recruiting in both languages
• Several years of hands-on, full-cycle recruitment experience in startup or scale-up environments
• Direct experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, or industrial operations roles, with understanding of how this differs from technical hiring
• Proven track record recruiting internationally for niche and difficult-to-fill positions
• Experience working with selective, technically demanding hiring teams
• Exceptional sourcing instincts with creative approaches beyond LinkedIn including events, talent communities, and conferences
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and eagerness to improve systems and processes that enable team scaling
• Clear communication, decisive action, and ability to work effectively with demanding stakeholders
• High quality standards and ownership mentality
• Genuine excitement about contributing to ambitious, mission-driven work
