About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential mobility client in their search for a Senior Accountant – General Ledger based in Munich. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment while contributing to significant system transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile general ledger accounts, including month-end and year-end closing activities
- Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function
- Support intercompany accounting and reconciliation
- Actively participate in an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud migration project (go-live January 2027), including testing, data validation, and process redesign
- Collaborate closely with all finance teams—accounting, controlling, FP&A, and corporate finance—on cross-functional projects
- Ensure all bookings and processes comply with GoBD requirements
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally with exposure to group or multi-entity structures
- Hands-on mentality with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Preferably, experience in VAT assessment of business transactions
- SAP experience is advantageous, ideally including involvement in an ERP migration or implementation
- Comfortable switching between operational accounting tasks and project work
- Thrive in a dynamic, growing environment with enthusiasm for new digital tools, automation, and AI-supported workflows
- Fluent in both German and English
