MAINZ – Stationsleitung Campervanvermietung (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing campervan and recreational vehicle company seeking a Station Manager (m/f/d) for their Mainz location. Our client operates across Europe in the travel and mobility sector, offering customers unique adventure experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll build and manage a local team while ensuring excellent customer service and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead station development and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in close collaboration with central departments and your local team
• Optimize processes and implement operational standards, particularly around vehicle handovers and returns, while contributing your own improvement ideas
• Collaborate with international teams to continuously improve service delivery and operational efficiency
• Manage and develop your team through structured onboarding, task planning, and regular feedback sessions
• Independently recruit and build your team, finding talent who share enthusiasm for the travel and mobility industry
• Oversee the local vehicle fleet, ensuring all units are maintained in excellent condition and coordinating with local service partners
• Provide expert customer consultation on various rental and subscription products, ensuring customers have outstanding experiences

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training or degree in a relevant field, or comparable qualification
• At least 1-2 years of professional experience, ideally in car rental, tourism, or related sectors; career changers are welcome
• Some team leadership experience is advantageous, but we value empathy and a supportive leadership approach above all
• Strong service and customer orientation with a passion for open, friendly communication
• Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for a varied role requiring pragmatic, solution-focused work
• Very good German and English language skills
• Valid Class B driver's license

Pay

The client has indicated a salary band of €37,000 to €43,000 gross annually for this position. Your exact placement within this range will be determined based on your experience and qualifications during the interview process. Annual salary reviews are standard.
