FREIBURG – Station Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential mobility and tourism client seeking a Station Manager for their Freiburg-Basel location. This is an exciting opportunity to lead operations at a growing vehicle rental station, managing both the day-to-day business and a dedicated team while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the station operations, ensuring smooth daily business alongside central departments and your team
• Optimize processes and implement standards for vehicle handovers, returns, and station workflows
• Collaborate with international teams to continuously improve operational procedures
• Build, lead, and develop your team through structured onboarding, task planning, and regular feedback sessions
• Manage recruitment activities to build a high-performing station team
• Oversee fleet management at the location, maintaining vehicle condition and coordinating with local service partners
• Provide expert customer consultation on vehicle rental and subscription products
• Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction across all touchpoints

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training or degree in a relevant field, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years professional experience, ideally in vehicle rental, tourism, or related fields; career changers welcome
• Some team leadership experience preferred; empathy and supportive leadership approach are essential
• Strong service and customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Hands-on mentality with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to varied responsibilities
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Valid Class B driver's license required

Pay

The client has indicated a salary band of €37,000 - €45,000 gross annually for this position. Your specific placement within this range will be determined based on your experience and qualifications during the interview process. Annual salary reviews are conducted as standard.
