About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential social technology client in their search for a UX Researcher to join their product organization on a six-month temporary contract. This is a fully remote opportunity based in the USA.
You'll partner with cross-functional leadership to conduct mixed-methods research that drives product strategy and deepens understanding of diverse user segments. This role offers the chance to shape how millions of people connect online through rigorous qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives using both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover user needs and validate product solutions
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing (moderated and unmoderated), and survey-based research to understand user attitudes and behaviors
- Generate actionable insights that drive stakeholder decision-making across a range of product initiatives
- Communicate research findings through compelling written reports and presentations to audiences ranging from designers to executive stakeholders
- Partner with Design and Product teams to integrate research best practices into product development culture, including documentation and mentorship
- Analyze trends and answer the "why" behind quantitative data patterns
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience conducting user research in a B2C or B2B product environment
- Demonstrated experience with user interviews and usability testing methodologies
- Proven ability to create and analyze surveys to determine user attitudes and behaviors
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present research to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical orientation combined with creative, flexible problem-solving approaches
- Comfort working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
- Empathetic and curious mindset with minimal bias when investigating complex human problems
- Passion for mixed-methods research to create comprehensive views of problem spaces
