Systemarchitekt (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Systems Architect to join their infrastructure team in Bad Homburg. In this role, you will plan and develop modern system and network architectures for complex IT environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing requirements and designing comprehensive system and network structures including security components
• Creating architectural concepts that integrate hardware, software, and network infrastructure
• Presenting technical designs and architectures to internal stakeholders and clients
• Deriving future-oriented, cost-effective, and secure system architectures from customer requirements
• Analyzing, evaluating, and documenting technical changes and their implementation
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure architecture documentation
• Continuously researching new technologies, frameworks, and hardware solutions
• Taking a hands-on approach to systems and interfaces when needed
• Supporting teams with system architecture questions across projects

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent professional experience in IT
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• At least five years of proven expertise (ideally with certifications) in one or more of: high-availability network, firewall, and load balancer architectures; application virtualization platforms; or operations and monitoring platforms
• Additional knowledge in Active Directory, antivirus and firewall solutions, backup systems, automation tools, asset management, and monitoring stacks is highly valued
• Familiarity with IT security frameworks and standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong ability to collaborate and persuade
• Fluent German and good English language skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Valid Class B driver's license
