Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential financial services consultancy seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their London team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions that support mission-critical applications. You'll work closely with development teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments while driving best practices across the organization.
Your day-to-day will include architecting cloud solutions, automating deployment pipelines, monitoring system performance, and resolving complex technical challenges. You'll contribute to strategic planning around cloud adoption and migration initiatives while mentoring junior engineers on the team.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proven track record in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Senior-level experience (typically 5+ years in cloud engineering roles)
