Proposition Manager

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential PropTech organization seeking a Proposition Manager to lead the evolution of their core referencing product. This is a hybrid role based in London (2 days per week on-site, 3 days remote) with occasional paid travel to other UK offices.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a tenant referencing proposition at the intersection of strategy, customer insight, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll identify opportunities to improve quality, speed, trust, and customer experience across the referencing journey, balancing immediate opportunities with long-term vision.

Responsibilities

As Proposition Manager, you will:

• Research and validate ideas through customer interviews, market research, and data analysis
• Build deep understanding of customers, competitors, and market trends to identify strategic opportunities
• Turn insight into clear recommendations, business cases, and commercial models
• Help shape the strategic roadmap for the referencing proposition, balancing customer needs with commercial outcomes
• Assess proposition opportunities, revenue impact, and long-term value
• Facilitate workshops and cross-functional discussions to build alignment and move ideas forward
• Work closely with Product, Operations, Marketing, Commercial, and Compliance teams to evolve the customer experience
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve the referencing journey

What We're Looking For

Essential experience:

• Developing products, propositions, or customer journeys based on customer needs and business priorities
• Using customer, market, and competitor insight to identify opportunities and make evidence-based recommendations
• Building business cases and assessing commercial opportunities, balancing customer value with business outcomes
• Turning complex information into clear proposals that gain stakeholder buy-in
• Working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, or Engineering teams
• Using qualitative and quantitative data to validate ideas, prioritize opportunities, and measure success
• Taking ideas from discovery through to recommendation, prioritization, and implementation
• Managing stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and bringing people together around a shared direction
• Knowledge of API integrations, cloud infrastructure, and technological underpinnings of SaaS platforms

Desirable experience:

• Knowledge of tenant referencing, lettings, PropTech, financial services, credit scoring, or other regulated or operationally complex environments
• Experience with CRM, BI or analytics tools, process mapping, or complex data analysis
• Exposure to sales, marketing, or go-to-market activity
