Account Executive – Financial Services

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential language services organization seeking an Account Executive to focus on the Financial Services sector in London. This is a direct sales role where you'll own the complete business development cycle—from initial prospecting through contract closure—while building lasting client relationships in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

You'll leverage your understanding of financial services or localization to identify prospects, cold call, attend trade shows, and close new accounts. Once engaged, you'll serve as the primary point of contact, managing pricing, contracts, and client expectations in coordination with delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, online research, and industry events
• Qualify and develop sales opportunities from lead through close
• Build relationships with decision-makers in financial services organizations
• Educate prospects on service capabilities, benefits, and competitive differentiators
• Manage pricing, proposals, and contractual negotiations
• Coordinate with production management to ensure client satisfaction and manage expectations
• Maintain deep knowledge of each client's industry, business objectives, and culture to uncover expansion opportunities
• Project revenues, monitor budgets, and perform analytical calculations as required

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Interest in or experience with strategic business development, client services, or account management
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to connect with diverse stakeholders
• Superior written and verbal communication skills in English
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to commute to the London office five days per week
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across cultures
• Problem-solving orientation and commitment to high-quality service delivery
• Previous account management experience is beneficial but not required
