Manager, Commissions – India

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Manager, Commissions based in India. This is a remote role for candidates authorized to work in India.

Our client is seeking a strategic commissions professional to oversee the complete lifecycle of sales incentive programs—from plan design through payout execution and statement delivery. You'll serve as a trusted advisor on exceptions management, deal attribution, and incentive optimization while implementing modern automation and AI-driven tools to transform commissions from a back-office function into a forward-looking intelligence hub.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discussions with sales and executive stakeholders to design and distribute optimized commission plans aligned with company revenue objectives
• Calculate and execute monthly and quarterly commission payouts with precision, resolving exceptions and attribution questions
• Coordinate commission statement delivery to sales representatives, maintaining transparency and trust
• Configure end-to-end data pipelines for commission tool implementation and drive 100% adoption within 6 months
• Implement AI-driven anomaly detection models to identify discrepancies between payouts and actual attainments
• Build and maintain knowledge bases to support AI-driven Q&A bots for terms and conditions inquiries
• Generate validation checks and analytics to evaluate plan effectiveness and provide recommendations to leadership
• Establish comprehensive dashboards for productivity reporting, validation checks, and performance tracking within 6 months
• Deploy AI-driven support systems to reduce manual inquiry load by at least 50% within 12 months
• Automate Presidents Club attainment eligibility sourcing from validated commission files

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in incentive plan design and strategic modeling aligned with revenue engines
• End-to-end commission payout calculations, validation, and exceptions management expertise
• Advanced data analysis, modeling, and reporting capabilities (attainment analytics, productivity metrics, bell curve analysis)
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade commission management software such as Everstage, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly, or similar platforms
• Proficiency in advanced Excel/Google Sheets or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent)
• Strong collaborative communication skills to manage exceptions and plan alignment with sales teams and leadership
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical rigor
• Proactive problem-solving approach with a tech-forward mindset
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SaaS or tech industry sales incentive frameworks and compensation structures
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools in financial operations (anomaly detection, natural language querying)
