Senior Manager, Solution Engineering EMEA

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Engineering for their EMEA region, based in London, UK. Our client operates in the modern content technology space, serving high-growth companies that require sophisticated, API-first platforms.

This is a player-coach role where you'll lead and develop a team of Solution Engineers while staying hands-on in the region's most strategic opportunities. You'll own the execution of established presales motions—discovery, tailored demos, proof-of-value engagements, and architecture reviews—ensuring your team delivers consistent, high-impact customer interactions that connect technical capabilities to real business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Solution Engineers across EMEA, including hiring, onboarding, and conducting regular one-on-ones and deal reviews
• Participate hands-on in the team's highest-impact opportunities from discovery through close, modeling best practices for your team
• Execute and reinforce established presales motions with consistency across the team, maintaining high standards for discovery, demos, POVs, and technical reviews
• Coach Solution Engineers to translate technical capability into business value for developers, architects, product leaders, and content teams
• Drive adoption of AI tools across the team for call preparation, faster POC setup, demo environment configuration, and turning discovery insights into follow-up documentation
• Own regional forecasting and pipeline hygiene for presales activities, reporting on team performance and technical win rates
• Partner closely with Sales leadership, Product, and Marketing teams across EMEA
• Ensure your team has the necessary presales toolkit—demo environments, collateral, evaluation guides—and iterate where gaps exist for the region
• Route field feedback and regional insights to senior leadership to inform product and go-to-market strategy

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing or leading a Solutions Engineering or Presales team in B2B SaaS, ideally with highly technical, composable, headless, or API-first platforms
• Strong technical foundation with comfort discussing APIs, data models, front-end frameworks, integrations, and modern architecture patterns
• Track record of improving team performance through coaching, hands-on deal support, and consistent execution of established presales processes
• Experience selling developer-facing, composable, or API-first SaaS platforms in content management, digital experience, or adjacent modern tooling
• Clear, inclusive communication skills with the ability to shift from deep technical detail to executive-level value narratives
• Familiarity with content workflows, editorial tooling, or digital experience platforms
• Collaborative leadership style with high integrity and a bias toward developing others
• Fluency with AI-based tools for technical evaluations, architecture conversations, research, and day-to-day productivity
• Based in or willing to relocate to London, UK
