Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Team Leader for their warehouse operations in Neuss. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll actively work alongside your team in the picking and packing operation while coordinating shift activities.

In this position, you will:

• Lead your team during shift operations and serve as a working example on the floor
• Actively participate in order picking, combining items, and packing shipments
• Operate forklift equipment and provide operational support to team members
• Coordinate and delegate tasks based on team members' capabilities
• Plan shift schedules, assignments, and priorities
• Identify disruptions early and initiate corrective measures
• Optimize simple work processes to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor quality of picked goods and maintain accuracy standards
• Document relevant processes and maintain oversight of operations

Please note that portions of the work take place in refrigerated areas (4-6 degrees Celsius). This role operates on a 3-shift system.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading and managing teams
• Practical background in warehouse, logistics, or order picking operations
• Current experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Very good German language skills (required for daily operations)
• Reliable, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and team spirit
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation system

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to directly impact daily operations while developing your leadership capabilities. You'll serve as the critical link between the warehouse floor and management.
