Account Executive – Mid-Central

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is transforming how employers approach healthcare benefits. We're seeking an Account Executive - Mid-Central to drive revenue growth through strategic broker and consultant partnerships in a designated territory covering MI, IN, OH, KY, MD, DC, VA, and WV.

This is a quota-carrying role focused on the 50-199 employee segment. You'll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and activating new broker relationships to deepening existing partnerships and closing deals. Strong candidates thrive in high-accountability environments and want their work to deliver measurable impact.

Candidates must be based within the Mid-Central territory.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue targets for your specific Mid-Central territory (MI, IN, OH, KY, MD, DC, VA, WV)
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of broker, consultant, and general agent partnerships
• Activate new broker relationships while expanding production from existing partners
• Execute the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
• Develop tracking systems and processes to maintain pipeline predictability
• Present value propositions effectively to external stakeholders including benefits advisors and employers
• Establish foundational infrastructure for partnership management in your region

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a quota-carrying channel or partner sales role
• Strong track record of building and closing your own pipeline
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with external stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
• Self-directed work style with strong accountability to outcomes
• Experience selling benefits-adjacent products or in healthcare is a plus but not required
• Must be based in the Mid-Central territory (MI, IN, OH, KY, MD, DC, VA, WV)
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (our client cannot sponsor or transfer employment visas)
