About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS platform in the mobile monetization space. Our client serves hundreds of thousands of developers worldwide, processing billions in transactions annually and powering subscription models for apps ranging from solo founders to major consumer tech companies.
This Senior Product Marketing Manager role sits at the intersection of technical depth and creative storytelling. You'll translate complex platform capabilities into compelling narratives for diverse audiences—from software engineers integrating SDKs to executives evaluating ROI. This position reports to the Head of Product Marketing and offers significant autonomy in a remote-first, globally distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Go-to-market campaign ownership: Drive launch strategies for new product capabilities, creating communication plans that resonate with both technical implementers and business decision-makers
- Lifecycle marketing execution: Collaborate with marketing operations to build data-driven campaigns that improve feature adoption, customer retention, and community engagement
- Web experience optimization: Lead the vision for web page design and conversion optimization, working with external agencies to create visually compelling storytelling through illustrations, animations, and interactive tools
- Customer storytelling: Conduct interviews with users and translate insights into case studies and testimonials that demonstrate platform value across different use cases
- Sales enablement: Develop pitch materials, competitive positioning documentation, and objection-handling resources for customer-facing teams
- Market intelligence: Monitor the mobile app ecosystem and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform strategic direction
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Growth teams to align on messaging, gather technical insights, and advocate for go-to-market needs
- Creative initiatives: Lead unique brand-building projects that strengthen community connection (past examples from similar organizations include developer challenges, limited-edition merchandise, and industry events)
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years in Product Marketing within B2B or developer-focused SaaS environments
- Proven track record owning end-to-end go-to-market efforts, including major product launches
- Experience working independently as a solo marketer or driving initiatives with minimal oversight—our client values entrepreneurial self-starters who thrive in asynchronous, remote cultures
- Strong creative direction skills: you've led web design projects, prototyped in Figma, or used AI tools to iterate concepts quickly
- Excellent editorial judgment with the ability to provide clear feedback on copy and elevate messaging across technical and non-technical audiences
- Technical fluency: while you don't write code, you understand APIs, SDKs, and can communicate credibly with engineering teams
- Exceptional project management capabilities to prioritize competing initiatives and execute across distributed teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholder groups
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and taking on unique projects that require creative problem-solving
Preferred background:
- Experience in the mobile app ecosystem or subscription-based software products
- Background at early-stage technology companies or leading new initiatives independently within larger organizations
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Notion, Slack, Zoom, Linear or equivalents)
Success profile: You have a bias toward action and get hands dirty with execution. You're comfortable raising your hand to get what you need from cross-functional partners. You see strategic pivots as opportunities rather than obstacles. You appreciate the human side of technical products and enjoy occasionally whimsical creative work alongside core marketing responsibilities.
