About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential open-source technology organization in their search for a Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager. This remote role focuses on building and managing strategic partnerships with leading semiconductor companies to optimize enterprise Linux platforms for innovative hardware solutions.

We're seeking professionals across career levels—from early career to senior—who can bridge hardware and software ecosystems while driving complex partnership initiatives across global teams.

Location: Remote in EMEA, LATAM, Canada, or USA. EMEA candidates should be comfortable with shifted schedules to support Americas-based partners. Global travel required for team meetings, events, and partner engagements.

Responsibilities

• Represent our client's solutions and software portfolio to semiconductor partners
• Develop deep understanding of silicon partner strategies, technologies, and roadmaps; identify alignment with current and future product opportunities
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to define joint products, solutions, and complex partnership programs
• Create, track, and execute robust project plans for partnership initiatives
• Develop joint go-to-market strategies and campaigns with silicon partners, including market messaging, collateral, and launch planning
• Negotiate partnership contracts and commercial agreements
• Manage partnerships ranging from exploratory collaborations to strategic, high-value relationships

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or related field
• Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem
• Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy, or similar roles
• Excellent communication skills with ability to grasp complex technical material and synthesize key points
• Strategic and tactical thinking capabilities
• Self-motivated and disciplined work style suited to remote-first environment

Preferred:

• Experience with software and system architecture
• Familiarity with open-source software and open-source business models
• Team leadership or program management experience
