Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential education services organization seeking experienced Virtual Adapted Physical Education Teachers to deliver individualized remote instruction to students nationwide.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging, individualized virtual physical education tailored to each student's physical abilities, motor development goals, and unique learning profile
- Create structured, modified fitness plans that align with student IEP goals, targeting areas such as gross motor skills, coordination, strength, balance, and spatial awareness
- Adapt instruction in real time based on student engagement, physical capabilities, and home environment constraints, creatively using household items or limited spaces for safe, active movement
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with families, IEP teams, and school district partners to ensure regulatory compliance and transparent reporting on motor skill development
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required
- Certification in Adapted Physical Education or related credential
- Experience working with students who have diverse physical, cognitive, or developmental needs
- Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations
- Strong virtual instruction skills—comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace
- Availability during Pacific Time hours is preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
