About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential research and advisory organization seeking a Senior Principal Analyst, AI Cybersecurity to work remotely within the United States. This is a senior-level research position for candidates with deep expertise in artificial intelligence security, data protection, and AI governance.

You will develop authoritative research content, advise enterprise clients on securing AI systems, and establish yourself as a thought leader in the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-impact research deliverables focused on AI cybersecurity challenges and solutions
• Lead client interactions (virtual and in-person) to diagnose security challenges and reframe strategic thinking around AI risk
• Research, analyze, and predict market trends in AI security technologies and control frameworks
• Create and deliver presentation materials for industry conferences, professional associations, and client briefings
• Provide peer review for research content and collaborate with internal research teams
• Support business development by articulating market insights and client needs
• Build credibility as an industry expert in AI cybersecurity and governance topics
• Participate in innovation discussions and contribute to research agenda development

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
• 12+ years of enterprise experience in one or more of the following:
  • Risk management with focus on information or IT risk
  • Cybersecurity with emphasis on data security or application security
  • Data science, AI architecture, or AI implementation
• Experience or strong interest in:
  • Evaluating controls frameworks and standards for securing AI systems
  • Assessing technology markets supporting AI security
  • Applying cybersecurity controls to AI and generative AI
• Excellent writing ability with proven capacity to create detailed yet accessible research content
• Strong communication skills for engaging clients and responding to complex questions
• Superior analytical skills with ability to apply conceptual models and defend conclusions
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
