About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential logistics organization with operations across North America. Our client is expanding their Mexico-based team and seeking a Government Relations Specialist to join either their Ciudad de México office or work remotely within Mexico.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary resource on regulatory matters related to product and policy changes affecting logistics operations
- Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholder review
- Organize and facilitate forums and stakeholder meetings to exchange information on business activities and pending legislation
- Ensure the organization's interests are protected in legislative and regulatory proceedings and market rule development
- Maintain comprehensive databases tracking regulatory changes and compliance requirements
- Represent the organization in external business meetings with government agencies and industry groups
- Develop and maintain policies and programs ensuring awareness of government legislation and regulatory issues
- Provide guidance to management on regulatory and compliance matters to ensure adherence to legal requirements
- Independently resolve moderately complex regulatory issues while escalating complex matters appropriately
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Law with current license to practice law in Mexico
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public affairs or government relations
- SAT/Tax experience is required
- Background in the transport and logistics industry is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats
- Highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding managerial and negotiation capabilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
