Working Student Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace client seeking a Working Student Software Engineer for their Ground Systems Engineering Applications team in Parsdorf, Bavaria. In this role, you will contribute directly to software systems that support the operation and future development of advanced launch vehicles.

You will collaborate with experienced software engineers and aerospace specialists, gaining hands-on experience with modern software stacks and aerospace industry development practices. Your work will be crucial for enabling reliable and efficient operations, testing, and development.

Specifically, you will:

• Implement new features and improve existing software systems
• Contribute to full-stack development, both backend and frontend
• Help automate engineering processes to improve operational efficiency
• Work on software used to operate test facilities and launch operations

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Familiarity with frontend or backend web development (Node.js and/or C#/.NET or another object-oriented programming language)
• Familiar with Git and collaborative version control workflows
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Organized and proactive with high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and team-player mindset
• Fluent in English

Bonus skills:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable software architecture
