Consultant Projektsteuerung (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a client in the public sector, currently delivering transformation and digitalization initiatives centered on enterprise resource planning and logistics systems. In this consultant role focused on project coordination, you will:

• Prepare and lead weekly project alignment meetings, document outcomes, and maintain status reporting
• Bridge communication between functional departments, IT teams, and project leadership
• Facilitate workshops where business and technical stakeholders align on requirements and solutions
• Analyze processes that are not functioning optimally and propose improvements
• Support conceptual work and validate that delivered solutions are fit for daily operations
• Engage with stakeholders ranging from operational staff to senior project management
• Adapt to emerging project needs, taking ownership of new workstreams or coordinating handoffs to specialized colleagues

What We're Looking For

Essential experience and qualities:

• Minimum 3 years in IT project environments; 5+ years strongly preferred
• Proven track record of follow-through—completing what you start even when progress becomes challenging
• Ability to remain composed and focused when projects face tight deadlines or obstacles
• Genuine interest in understanding the people behind the requirements; much of this work is relationship-driven
• Strong listening skills and the discipline to understand context before proposing solutions

Technical background:

• Experience with enterprise software projects is valued but the specific platform is less critical than aptitude and attitude
• Knowledge of SAP environments is welcome but not mandatory

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Aachen with predominantly remote work across Germany. Expect one to two site visits per month to the client location near Bonn.
