About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential deep-tech organization in the computer vision and industrial AI space, seeking an intern to join their specialized team in Heilbronn. This is an excellent opportunity for students in computer science or software engineering to gain hands-on experience with real-world AI systems deployed in manufacturing environments.
Our client works at the intersection of machine learning and industrial automation, developing vision-based quality control systems. As an intern, you'll contribute to meaningful projects with direct impact on production systems used by automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Support data preparation for AI models, including labeling and preprocessing tasks
- Contribute to optimization of data pipelines for computer vision systems
- Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers and software developers
- Gain exposure to real industrial projects with practical AI deployment
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in AI, deep learning, and computer vision applications
- Programming skills in Python, C++, or JavaScript
- Independent and detail-oriented working style
- Good German or English language skills
- Bonus: Experience with labeling tools or machine learning workflows
