We are representing a confidential eCommerce client in the home technology and building supplies sector. This Werkstudent position in Business Development & Key Accounting offers hands-on experience in a growing startup environment located in Walldorf. Our client operates at the intersection of traditional trade and modern digital commerce, serving both residential and commercial customers in an industry critical to energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Development team in daily operations, gaining comprehensive insight into eCommerce startup processes
• Prepare and analyze sales, purchasing, and market data; maintain and develop existing reports and dashboards
• Communicate with partners and suppliers, prepare meetings, and document structured summaries and next steps
• Assist in managing key existing customers and partners
• Optimize strategic purchasing through price comparisons, offer evaluations, and support for negotiation materials
• Utilize AI tools for research, content creation, and process optimization

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable degree program
• Strong passion for entrepreneurship and eCommerce
• Independent working style with structured and organized approach
• Experience and interest in AI usage (e.g., Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, ChatGPT), Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and BI tools
• Preference for direct phone communication and willingness to handle negotiations directly
• Desire to gain valuable practical experience in a dynamic startup and continue developing professionally
• German language proficiency required for supplier and partner communication
