Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator – Marketing and Advertising (Brazil)

We are representing a confidential client in the marketing and advertising sector. They need an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their finance team remotely from Brazil. This role offers the opportunity to work with a modern, digitally-focused organization that serves global brands.

Responsibilities

• Review and process high volumes of vendor invoices and payments across multiple locations and entities, ensuring compliance with internal policies
• Request vendor account statements, perform reconciliations, and research and correct discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records
• Communicate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts with attention to detail and accuracy
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes, including generating and distributing billing reports to stakeholders
• Maintain detailed financial records and documentation to support audit requirements

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting with solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Mediaocean, or Strata
• Experience with AI tools is required for this position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and capability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Based in Brazil with reliable internet connection for remote work
