Growth Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a Series A SaaS company in Berlin that is building the analytics infrastructure for a rapidly evolving search landscape. Our client is backed by leading investors, scaling past eight figures in ARR, and operating with a distributed team across Europe and North America.

We are searching for a Growth Engineer focused on acquisition. You will own the experimentation surface that sits between marketing channels and product: landing pages, pricing tests, paid surfaces, programmatic page systems, and the entire journey from click to account creation. This is not a product growth role—it points outward toward acquisition and conversion.

You will report to the Head of Growth and collaborate with a Growth PM, a product-focused growth engineer, a performance marketer, and the design team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain experimentation infrastructure including feature flags, assignment logic, and exposure logging
• Run acquisition experiments end-to-end: form hypotheses, build variants, instrument tracking, launch tests, analyze results, and drive decisions
• Own the acquisition experimentation surface: landing pages, pricing pages, paid campaign destinations, and signup entry points
• Treat the acquisition surface as a product—set the roadmap and prioritize work based on impact
• Build programmatic page systems at scale and own technical SEO as an engineering function
• Ensure conversion measurement is accurate and trustworthy through rigorous event design and funnel definitions
• Create tooling that removes manual work from the acquisition process

What We're Looking For

Our client does not filter on years of experience or job titles. This type of work goes by several names across the industry. What matters is what you have actually built and shipped.

• You have run acquisition experiments end-to-end—you formed hypotheses, designed tests, built the variants, and interpreted results. Not just analyzed someone else's work.
• B2B technology experience
• Strong production skills in React and TypeScript; the stack includes React, Node.js, and Next.js
• SQL and analytics fluency: funnels, cohorts, event schema design
• You have built something programmatic—page systems, templated content at scale, or internal tooling
• You ship efficiently using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools
• Strong product judgment

Bonus points:

• You established an experimentation practice from scratch and grew it into a repeatable motion
• Product-led growth experience
• Programmatic SEO at meaningful scale
• Experience with experimentation platforms and feature flags such as Statsig, GrowthBook, PostHog, or custom solutions
• Background in SEO, search, MarTech, or AdTech
• Side projects and experiments you can demonstrate
