About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential entertainment technology company operating at the intersection of media production and global distribution. Our talent team is searching for a Music Producer to join their Berlin operation and own the final quality stage of a high-volume catalogue reaching millions of listeners worldwide.

This is a remote-first role with regular international team gatherings. You will be the gatekeeper: every track released passes through your hands, and you set the standard for sound, consistency and delivery excellence across a rapidly growing library.

Responsibilities

• Combine instrumentals and vocals into finished, release-ready tracks—aligning, tuning, editing vocals and balancing mixes to professional standards
• Master every track to consistent loudness, tone and format specifications for streaming platforms, maintaining clean metadata and stems archives
• Conduct quality review on every song before release, accepting polished work or returning it with precise, actionable notes
• Maintain and enforce a written quality standard that guides all contributors and keeps the bar high
• Manage the production pipeline from brief to final master, tracking what is in flight, who owns each stage, and what ships each week
• Leverage stem separation, tuning, mastering and AI audio tools to accelerate workflow and improve consistency

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years producing, mixing or mastering music for commercial release, ideally at volume (labels, distributors, production houses, library music) rather than single-album projects
• Mastering expertise: you master to streaming loudness standards, know your signal chain and DAW (Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools or similar) inside out, and can demonstrate released tracks you finished
• Vocal production: you align, tune, edit and integrate vocals into instrumentals they were not recorded with, delivering a cohesive, polished result
• Quality control experience: you have evaluated others' work against a defined standard, provided structured feedback that improved future deliveries, and confidently rejected substandard work
• Production pipeline management: you have run multi-track workflows with hard deadlines and remote freelancers, keeping everything organized and on schedule
• Genre versatility: you are comfortable across country, soul, reggae, metal and more, adapting your approach to the genre rather than imposing a single sonic signature
• High-performance environment: you thrive in fast-paced settings with clear deliverables and accountability
• Bonus: experience using AI music generation or stem separation tools in real release workflows, and active awareness of developments in AI music production

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive for the Berlin market. The client also offers equity participation.
