About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing strategy consulting firm based in Hamburg that works with established enterprise clients across multiple sectors. Our client is building out their corporate advisory practice and needs an experienced consultant who can take full ownership of complex client engagements from initial executive conversations through implementation.

This is not a typical consulting role. You'll work directly with C-suite executives and board members without layers of approval between you and the client. If you've trained at a top-tier consultancy (MBB, Big Four strategy practices, or similar) and are ready to move beyond slide decks and approval cycles to actually drive transformation work, this could be your next step.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end consulting mandates for corporate clients of increasing size and complexity, from initial executive engagement through implementation oversight
• Develop and execute business model transformations, particularly around sales and CRM strategy
• Lead strategy workshops and steering committees at C-level
• Build the methodological foundation for the enterprise consulting practice alongside leadership—shaping offering structure, delivery standards, and quality frameworks
• Serve as a strategic sparring partner to the firm's leadership on enterprise segment development

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience at Senior Consultant level or above from a top strategy consultancy (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big Four strategy practices, or comparable firms)
• Proven track record working directly with C-suite executives and board members of established organizations
• Ability to independently structure and lead complex transformation projects without requiring extensive approval processes
• Executive presence—you can credibly advise senior leaders without relying on a big firm's brand
• Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in ownership and upside participation, not just salary
• Strong German language skills required for this Hamburg-based role
• Knowledge of the education sector is helpful but not essential—consulting rigor matters more than sector history

Compensation

Our client offers an attractive base salary plus a contractually defined revenue participation model on your client accounts. Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience level.
