About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology solutions provider serving the construction and industrial sectors across Germany. We are seeking freelance IT installation technicians to support field deployment of connectivity systems on a project basis throughout the country.

This is a self-employed contractor role. You will accept assignments in your region, performing installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mobile network infrastructure at construction sites and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and decommission mobile connectivity equipment at construction sites and industrial environments
• Perform on-site maintenance and service calls, including troubleshooting routers, antennas, and cabling
• Document each deployment with photos, measurements, and completion protocols
• Coordinate with remote technical support during installations

What We're Looking For

• Active business registration (Gewerbeanmeldung) required – ideally already operating as an IT, electrical, or telecommunications installer
• Completed vocational training as IT specialist (Fachinformatiker), electrical technician (Elektrotechniker), electrician (Elektriker), or comparable qualification
• Strong knowledge of network technology: routers, firewalls, VLANs, mobile/LTE/5G systems
• Technical and hands-on mechanical aptitude
• Own vehicle and professional tools
• Fluent German language skills
• Experience working on construction sites; height work certification (PSAgA) advantageous
• Mobile elevated work platform certification (Hubarbeitsbühnenschein) is a plus
