Lead Product Marketing – B2B Enterprise Software for Discrete Manufacturing (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential B2B enterprise software company based in Munich that serves discrete manufacturing organizations. Our client has developed a specialized analytics platform that helps large industrial companies understand product complexity and make better portfolio decisions. We're seeking a Lead Product Marketing professional to shape positioning and translate complex technology into clear, commercial messaging for C-level enterprise buyers.

Responsibilities

• Define and sharpen category positioning, developing a clear market and buyer story for enterprise decision-makers
• Build commercial narratives that connect customer value, business impact, and product benefits into compelling C-level arguments
• Create sales enablement assets including narratives, proof points, and enablement materials that make enterprise sales more effective and consistent
• Serve as voice of customer by working closely with clients, sales teams, and product leadership to translate market feedback into stronger positioning, messaging, and go-to-market readiness

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in enterprise software, product marketing, commercial strategy, product strategy, value engineering, or comparable role
• Proven track record in positioning and messaging for complex B2B products that require significant buyer education
• Strong commercial thinking and understanding of C-level buying decisions
• Experience successfully launching and positioning new products, categories, or problem spaces in the market with clear differentiation
• Credible, collaborative work style with sales and product teams; ability to challenge priorities and radically simplify complex topics
• AI-native working approach with excellent German and English language skills
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, or complex technical B2B markets is a plus, but the key requirement is the ability to quickly learn industrial value chains, products, and buying centers
