Transformation Consultant (Healthcare) – Contract Role

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare transformation consultancy with a global presence. Our client works with public and private health providers to modernise services through digital strategy, programme management, technology implementation, and change management initiatives that improve quality, cost efficiency, and patient outcomes.

We are seeking transformation consultants at multiple seniority levels—from junior consultant through senior manager—for contract engagements lasting 3-6 months. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week on-site in or around London.

Responsibilities

Depending on your background and the project assignment, you may be responsible for:

• Programme and PMO management including governance frameworks, PMO setup and operations, RAID management, and programme reporting
• Integrated planning and scheduling using MS Project, managing dependencies and critical path analysis across complex transformation programmes
• Benefits realisation and performance management, including developing benefits frameworks, tracking mechanisms, validation processes, and reporting
• Risk management and governance assurance across transformation initiatives
• Leading transformation, adoption, and change activities, including clinical and operational stakeholder engagement
• Data analysis and reporting support using Power BI and management information systems

What We're Looking For

• Experience working as an independent consultant
• Consulting background is strongly preferred
• Proven experience delivering healthcare transformation programmes, ideally with a focus on digital initiatives
• Strong programme management capabilities and familiarity with PMO frameworks
• Ability to engage effectively with clinical and operational stakeholders
• Right to work in the UK

Pay

This is a contract role operating outside IR35. Day rates range from £300 to £550 depending on seniority and experience level.
