Health Equity Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading mental health and wellbeing charity operating across Yorkshire communities. Our client is seeking a Health Equity Manager to join their Leeds-based service and drive meaningful change in reducing health inequalities and improving accessibility for diverse populations.

This is a strategic role where you'll lead equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives across a partnership environment, working to ensure equitable opportunities for service users, staff and stakeholders alike.

Responsibilities

• Lead equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives across the mental wellbeing service partnership
• Support colleagues in delivering health equity objectives and strategic priorities
• Analyse and report on workforce and service data to identify inequalities and track progress
• Provide operational leadership on health equity matters across the organisation
• Act as deputy to the Head of Health Equity when required
• Drive meaningful change to reduce health inequalities in service delivery
• Ensure accessible and equitable services for all community members

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in health equity, equality and diversity leadership roles
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret workforce and service data
• Experience driving EDI initiatives in health or social care settings
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership working abilities
• Understanding of health inequalities and barriers to accessing mental health services
• Operational leadership experience with ability to deputise at senior level
• Commitment to inclusive practice and reducing disparities in service delivery
