About This Role

We are representing a confidential client in the security operations sector based in Potsdam. This technical leadership position combines hands-on responsibility with team coordination, overseeing IT infrastructure, control center operations, alarm management, and security technology. You'll ensure system stability, reliable interfaces, and safe operational continuity while setting technical standards across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of IT infrastructure, control center applications, alarm management systems, interfaces, and security technology
• Ensure availability and reliability of control center operations, communication channels, and network components
• Coordinate internal staff, external service providers, and technical partners on specialized matters
• Analyze and track technical incidents, escalations, and interface issues through to resolution
• Provide practical support for testing, system maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation, maintenance routines, and emergency procedures

What We're Looking For

• Experience in IT operations, network technology, system administration, or security technology
• Understanding of control center processes, alarm management, system interfaces, and availability requirements
• Hands-on mentality with structured approach to technical problem-solving
• Ability to coordinate service providers and technical teams effectively
• Excellent German language skills (required for operations and documentation)
• Valid driver's license (Class B)
• Knowledge of telecommunications, VoIP/telephone systems, alarm systems, video surveillance, or access control is advantageous
• Clean background check required
