Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential mobility organization in Germany that needs a working student to support their payment and collections operations. In this role, you will ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate payment processing while serving as a key point of contact for complex B2B customer inquiries.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of all incoming payments in daily operations
- Independently handling tickets related to complex payment queries from B2B customers and finding customer-oriented solutions
- Contributing to the conceptual and technical development of payment and receivables management processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Maintaining payment data diligently in fintech and CRM systems and identifying discrepancies early
- Collaborating closely with Finance, Operations, and B2B teams to resolve outstanding receivables cases quickly and transparently
- Supporting the team through regular audits and analyses to continuously improve payment rates and dunning processes
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level) to ensure professional communication with B2B customers
- Strong analytical thinking with pronounced numerical understanding and a highly structured, thorough, and conscientious working style
- Currently enrolled in a degree program with focus on Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field
- Available for at least 6 months and able to support the team continuously up to 20 hours per week
Preferred qualifications:
- Initial practical experience in payment, billing, accounting, or customer support in a dynamic environment or startup
- Familiarity with common ERP, CRM, or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce) and very good Excel/Google Sheets skills

Pay
