Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology organization in Bad Homburg seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their infrastructure team. In this role, you will develop and maintain build and delivery pipelines, manage artifact repositories, and support customer system environments. You'll automate recurring tasks such as provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using industry-standard tools including Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, and Python.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining software build and delivery processes
- Managing and evolving artifact repository structures
- Supporting the setup and maintenance of customer system environments
- Automating repetitive operations through scripting and tooling (Ansible, Python, Shell)
- Collaborating closely with development and service teams
- Contributing ideas for optimization and standardization of system environments
- Documenting standardized and secure infrastructure configurations
What We're Looking For
Our client seeks a candidate with practical DevOps experience and strong technical foundations:
- Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable hands-on IT experience
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus)
- Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages (Ansible, Python, Shell)
- Strong working knowledge of Git version control
- Experience with Linux system administration and RPM package building
The position is based in Bad Homburg, near Frankfurt am Main, with a hybrid work model combining office presence and remote work depending on role requirements.
