Strategic Alliances Principal – UK&I

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential global HR technology organization in their search for a Strategic Alliances Principal to execute field-level alliance activities with strategic embedded partners across the UK and Ireland region.

In this role, you will work directly with partners' sales teams, solution consultants, and leadership—both virtually and in-person—to build trust, create demand, and convert ecosystem engagement into sourced and influenced pipeline for global payroll, employer of record, and contractor management solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining ground-level relationships with partners' field stakeholders including account executives, managers, sales leadership, and solution consultants
• Running account mapping and coverage planning with partners' go-to-market teams to identify priority accounts and active initiatives
• Embedding into partners' operational cadences such as pipeline reviews, regional meetings, and enablement sessions
• Proactively sourcing opportunities from partners' field teams and related systems integrators
• Supporting co-sell execution through qualification, stakeholder mapping, mutual action plans, and coordination of internal resources
• Maintaining accurate reporting on relationship coverage, sourced and influenced pipeline, conversion metrics, and next steps
• Driving awareness through targeted enablement moments, content distribution, and local advocacy
• Partnering with marketing teams to organize, sponsor, and attend field and ecosystem events
• Owning event execution for your territory including targeting, meeting scheduling, on-site engagement, and post-event conversion
• Following a disciplined weekly operating rhythm with field touchpoints, pipeline reviews, and internal syncs
• Capturing partner feedback and competitive insights to share with wider teams
• Helping build and refine alliance playbooks and reusable assets as the motion scales

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking candidates with:

• Significant experience working with strategic alliance partners and their ecosystems, including understanding of field organization dynamics, partner motions, and decision-making processes
• Strong relationship-building skills and comfort operating with senior field stakeholders
• Proven track record of sourcing and progressing pipeline in multi-stakeholder enterprise contexts through alliances, partnerships, sales, or partner go-to-market roles
• Highly organized operating style with ability to run a tight cadence, follow through consistently, and maintain clean data and reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time
• Strong automation and AI capabilities with demonstrated AI fluency

This is a remote position based in the UK or Ireland, with an expected start date as soon as possible.
