Technical Program Manager, Engineering

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology organization based in Paris. We're seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join their Engineering organization and drive delivery of high-impact technical projects spanning model development, product releases, and enterprise customer deployments.

This position is based in Paris with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in the office to facilitate collaboration and communication. The role offers flexibility while maintaining alignment with core working hours and team availability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee complex technical programs aligned with strategic objectives, ensuring on-time delivery within budget
• Collaborate with teams to refine roadmaps, organize delivery workflows, maintain project tracking tools, and identify dependencies
• Drive engineering efficiency by automating processes and championing adoption across teams to reduce manual effort
• Partner directly with enterprise customers to support deployments and ensure timely delivery of specialized features
• Coordinate model and product releases across Science and Engineering teams to maintain seamless execution
• Track project progress, timelines, and resources while implementing processes to streamline delivery
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Science, Marketing, Design, and Solutions to ensure alignment
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders providing updates on program status, risks, issues, and expectations
• Identify potential risks throughout the program lifecycle and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant scientific field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
• Proven experience managing technical programs, preferably within engineering teams
• Strong understanding of software lifecycle management and deployment processes
• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to adapt communication for different stakeholders
• Highly organized with experience managing cross-team dependencies
• Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong design thinking skills and comfort contributing to architecture decisions

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience as a Software Developer
• Previous work in an AI company or project
• Knowledge of how large language models are built and operate
• Prior experience as a Technical Program Manager
