Deployment Lead – Accounting Solutions

We are seeking a Deployment Lead to join their team and drive successful customer onboarding. This remote position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background who is excited to work directly with customers and help finance teams modernize their operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead key aspects of customer onboarding and deployment, ensuring smooth and timely implementation experiences
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to execute implementation plans
• Analyze client accounting and finance workflows, translating business needs into clear requirements and practical solutions
• Guide customers through onboarding, training, change management, and software adoption
• Support data migration efforts, reconciliations, systems setup, and integration coordination
• Track project milestones, drive follow-through, and maintain alignment among internal and external stakeholders
• Identify implementation risks early, escalate issues promptly, and ensure customer launches stay on track
• Build trust with customers through responsive, thoughtful, and solutions-oriented engagement
• Maintain clear documentation and provide regular status updates throughout the deployment lifecycle

What We're Looking For

• 4-7 years of experience in accounting, audit, advisory, or related customer-facing roles
• Strong accounting foundation with credible knowledge of close processes, reconciliations, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and core finance workflows
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence to work directly with customers and senior stakeholders
• Systems-minded approach and eagerness to learn implementation work (formal implementation experience not required)
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
• Comfort operating in fast-paced environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
• Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
• Background in Big 4, SaaS, or technology companies is a plus
